The Roman latrine, located in Hierapolis in Pamukkale, Turkey, is an incredible archaeological site that reveals a great deal about the ancient city of Hierapolis. This impressive structure was built by the Romans during their occupation of the area in the 2nd century AD and continues to be studied closely by archaeologists today. The latrine was discovered in 1920 by Italian archaeologists and is one of the most well-preserved sites from this era in all of Turkey.
