Day Trip from Istanbul to Troy
You’ll be picked up from your hotel or hostel in Taksim or Sultanahmet between 6:00 – 6:30 am. The journey to Troy will take about 6 hours and include a lunch stop in Eceabat at 12:00 pm.
Once you arrive in Troy, you’ll join a guided tour of the ancient city. Highlights include the famous Trojan Horse, sacrificial altars, and the 3700-year-old city walls. You’ll also visit the houses of Troy I, which date back to 3000 B.C. to 2500 B.C. and see the Bouleuterium (Senate Building) and the Odeon (Concert Hall). Additionally, you’ll see current excavations in progress and the remains of various cities from Troy I through IX.
At the end of the tour at around 6:00 pm, you will be transferred back to Istanbul. Around 11:00 pm you will arrive back to Istanbul and will be dropped off at your hotel in Istanbul. End of tour and services.

We recently took a day trip to Troy from Istanbul with the One Nation Tour and had a great time. Our group of 5 was picked up from our hotel in Taksim at 6:00 am and the drive to Troy was comfortable.
Once we arrived in Troy, we were impressed by the ancient ruins. Hasan gave us a comprehensive tour of the site, including the famous Trojan Horse and the sacrificial altars. We also visited the houses of Troy I and saw the Bouleuterium and the Odeon. The tour was educational and interesting.
In addition to the guided tour, we had some free time to explore the site and do some souvenir shopping. The lunch provided by One Nation Tour was good and gave us the energy we needed to finish the tour.
